When creating your budgets, it is most important to begin by first creating an Income budget to account for all of your inflow for a month. To properly create your Income budget, you need to calculate your total monthly income. So if you are typically paid twice within a month, you need to set your budget amount for that total.

 

For example, if you are paid $1,500 on the 15th and 30th of the month, you would set your budget amount to be $3,000.
